The Cub Scouts had such a great time this weekend at the annual Pinewood Derby. Colin's car was the "Cheese Racer". He cut his block of wood to look like a wedge of cheese and made a cute little mouse driver for it. It won a trophy for "Most Indestructable Car".
Here are the socks that I just finished for Colin. They are made with the Knit Picks Parade yarn. I really liked the way they worked up. I would definately buy more of this yarn. Being sport weight, they are nice and thick and knit up super fast! For Colin's size 4 feet, I actually used all but a few yards of a ball to make each sock. I'd probably need 3 or maybe even 4 balls for me.
