Vision Update

Well, I saw my eye doctor today about the vision disturbances and the strange nighttime pain and have been diagnosed with "recurrent corneal erosion". Basically, the top layer of cells on my cornea aren't attached as well as they should be and at night when my eye dries out the eyelid sticks to the surface of my eye ripping off a tiny piece of my cornea! YUCK!

The good thing is he thinks it should heal with the application of a strong salt drop in the evening before bed for a while. From what I'm reading online, if that doesn't work they could try removing a portion of my cornea and letting it grow back, or do laser surgery. (Neither sounds like any fun!)

Let's just pray that the drops do the trick.
