Emerson hit two huge milestones today. He is over 4 pounds - 1865g to be exact which translates to 4 lbs 1 oz. It's only a few grams shy of 4 lbs 2 oz. I laugh because his weight is so dependent on what time they weigh him in relation to when they gave him his lasix. They also have moved him to an open crib! He is looking like such a big boy. The past two days he has also nursed really well. We are getting closer and closer to coming home. Now if we can just get past the BPD (lung damage) and get his oxygen requirement down. He is still needing a larger percentage of O2 when his tummy gets full or when he is on his back. He is now 33 weeks gestationally, which means he is only about a week younger than the age Dutton was when he was born.
