December 3

"This is my wish for you: peace of mind, prosperity through the year, happiness that multiplies, health for you and yours, fun around every corner, energy to chase your dreams, joy to fill your holidays!" - D.M. Dellinger

Today's prompts are about the word joy. To me, nothing says joy more than the belly laugh of a child that is thoroughly enjoying something. Joy is the wonder in their eyes when the Christmas lights are turned on. It is the excitement when they come downstairs on Christmas morning to see what treasure awaits.

Joy is about taking your first few steps. Emerson has been playing with the idea of walking since the weekend and each day is getting braver and braver. Pretty soon he will be off and running.

Joy is also about the newness of life. Today (Dec 4) our family welcomed a new niece/cousin. Mackenna Kathryn was born to proud parents Tricia and Berny at 3:47 am - 22 inches - 8 lbs 15 oz. It is the kind of phone call you are thrilled to receive in the middle of the night.

For our ornament today, we made some beautiful nativity ornaments with rub on transfers.
