I have been working through a class on Jessicasprague.com titled "Holidays in Hand". There was about a week of prep time in November, but the main "meat" of the class takes place each day of December. To me, this class sounded like a great way to shift my focus away from the hustle and bustle of December and towards the values, traditions and memories of the Christmas season.
Of course, there is always life to get in the way. Jim is traveling this week, so I am home with the three boys on my own. Sneaking a few minutes for myself each day is a challenge, but I'm going to do the best I can here and catch up when I can. I have started changing the template of my blog to have a nice holiday theme, but at this moment it isn't finished, but I can't be bothered with that at the moment. I'm sure I'll get it all cleaned up at the days go on. For now, oh well!
For each December day, we have a prompt card that has a quote, something to write about, something to take a photo of, something to do, and something to make as well as something to remember. I'll try and post a blog update each day with my answers and hopefully when January comes around, I can compile all of the blog posts into a wonderful Christmas memory scrapbook.
